Main Street Osceola, Inc. is a 501 © 3 non-profit corporation dedicated to the revitalization and preservation of Osceola’s downtown district.  Main Street Osceola receives no state or federal operating funds.  Financial support is received thru local property and business owners, industry, financial institutions, concerned citizens and the City of Osceola.

Our Mission

To make our downtown an economically viable place while preserving a well-kept historic district that is a community center with a family atmosphere; to promote downtown Osceola as a cultural center for the arts, heritage, and entertainment.  Downtown Osceola will have a sense of importance, and a sense of place that contributes to the overall quality of life.

Main Street Committees

Four Elements Working!

Design: To enhance the visual quality and historic role of the downtown, Main Street Osceola provides design assistance to property owners and merchants to improve buildings, signs, window displays, and landscaping and physical elements.

Organization: Main Street Osceola brings together various downtown interests; bankers, city government, merchant groups, the Chamber of Commerce, property owners, civic groups, and individual citizens to identify common goals and outline strategies for improvement.

Promotions: Through advertising and special events, Main Street Osceola promotes the downtown district as an exciting community stage, a meeting and gathering place filled with activity, lively stores, quality service and community focus.

Economic Restructuring:  Diversifying the Main Street economy by filling in the gaps by recruiting new stores, converting unused space into apartments or offices and improving the competitiveness of the area merchants is Main Street Osceola’s primary task.
